Named M. 35949 E.F. Coulton. C.O.A. 2. H.M.S. Drake, mounted as worn. -Cased Royal Life Saving Society Medal, named on the reverse E.F. Coulton October 1933. -Boxed Sporting Medal 'InterRoom 1936 E.F. Coulton.' from Thomas Fattorini Ltd. Regent Street Works Birmingham. Maker and silver marked. -Sterling Silver H.M.S. Trinidad Tie Clip in original packaging. -Medal postage box addressed to 'Mrs V.E. Coulton, 30 Southdown Road, Beacon Park, Plymouth, Devon.' -Original medal casualty slip from the Admiralty named 'Temporary Warrant Ordnance Officer Edgar Frank Coulton, RN.' Copy Commonwealth War Graves Commission document confirming him serving H.M.S. Trinidad, dieing on 29th March 1942 aged 42. On March 29, 1942, HMS Trinidad, a British light cruiser, was heavily damaged during a battle with German destroyers while escorting convoy PQ 13 in the Arctic. During the engagement, one of her own torpedoes malfunctioned and struck the ship, causing significant damage and resulting in casualties.  First time on market from the family. Condition as shown in photographs.

Din 2nd-14 Punjab R. -1939-45 Star -Pacific Star -WWII Defence Medal -WWII War Medal All Second World War medals unnamed as issued. Court mounted for display on a modern medal bar. He was a pre-war regular soldier killed in action during the Defence of Hong Kong 18th December 1941 aged 30. The regiment suffered 55 killed in action/ died of wounds, 69 missing and 161 wounded. He is the son of Mubarak Jan of Khanpur, Hazara, Pakistan. He is commemorated on the Sai Wan memorial, Hong Kong column 32. Condition as shown in photographs

Ministry of Transport medal certificate. 2 Board of Trade Continuous Certificate of Discharge books showing he was born 11th October 1914, Edinburgh. British citizen. First showing C. engagement 4th April 1940 rated as Ship's Cook, Steward and Chief Steward. Sailing from Leith, Glasgow, Manchester, Dundee, Aberdeen etc. Various ships throughout WWII and post war. First booklet completed 5th May 1952. His home address was listed as 47 Montrose Terrace, Abbey Hill, Edinburgh, Scotland. Second booklet shows service until 1972, finishing with a rank of Catering Officer. This with visa for Dakar and the CCCP (Soviet Union). Accompanied by an extensive research file in addition to the 2 Board of Trade booklets. Condition as shown in photographs
