He served on the Western Front form January 1917 and saw further service with the Royal Irish Rifles before being commissioned into the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment serving with the 11th Battalion. Naming officially re-impressed. Condition as shown in photographs

340 Sepoy. Lakhna Nand 38th Dongras regt. In August 1914 the Regiment was stationed at Malakand on the Northwest Frontier and remained in India til late 1917 when it was then posted to Aden and the Suez Canal. The regiment saw active service against the Turks at the Battle of Megiddo in September 1918. He remained in Egypt performing Garrison duties  throughout 1920 before returning to India. Condition as shown in photographs

2365 Sepoy. Churanji Lal 1-41 Dogras During WWI the regiment served on the Western Front in France between 9th August 1913 and 31st August 1915 as part of the 7th Meerut Division. From 20th September- 30th November serving with the 22nd Indian Infantry Brigade in Defence of the Suez Canal. Then serving in Mesopotamia at the battle's preceding the efforts to break the Battle of Kut. A good fighting Indian Infantry WWI medal. Condition as shown in photographs
