Frederick George Plummer was born in Hastings 6th May 1894. He enlisted in the Royal Navy for 12 years on 6th May 1912 serving on various ships and land-based establishments during the 1st World War.
He was awarded his Long Service & Good Conduct Medal 13th July 1927 serving on the H.M.S Columbine. Ending his service with the rank of Chief Petty Officer Telephonist
