Lance Sjt. William Gordon Taylor 2nd Bn. Argyle & Sutherland Highlanders killed in action 22nd September 1918 aged 29. Son of William and Janet Taylor of Stirling, husband of Mary Holman Taylor. Commemorated at the Villers Hill British Cemetery Villers-Guislain. One of 11 killed in action from the regiment on that day.
