2365 Sepoy. Churanji Lal 1-41 Dogras
During WWI the regiment served on the Western Front in France between 9th August 1913 and 31st August 1915 as part of the 7th Meerut Division. From 20th September- 30th November serving with the 22nd Indian Infantry Brigade in Defence of the Suez Canal. Then serving in Mesopotamia at the battle’s preceding the efforts to break the Battle of Kut.
A good fighting Indian Infantry WWI medal.
