Original plaque envelope and Buckingham Palace note. Commonwealth War Graves Commission details 49702 Pte. Ernest Walter Ward 32nd Bn. (East Ham) Royal Fusiliers. Killed in action 7th August 1917 aged 24. Son of Mr and Mrs S. Ward of White Street Green, Boxford, Suffolk. Commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial panel 6.
