340 Sepoy. Lakhna Nand 38th Dongras regt.
In August 1914 the Regiment was stationed at Malakand on the Northwest Frontier and remained in India til late 1917 when it was then posted to Aden and the Suez Canal. The regiment saw active service against the Turks at the Battle of Megiddo in September 1918. He remained in Egypt performing Garrison duties throughout 1920 before returning to India.
