Small letter reverse 1047 Farrier G. Burling 7th Dragoon Guards

With a folder of service and family research. George was born in 1833 in Essex, and enlisted on 25th October 1855 at Chelmsford, Essex. He stated his occupation as a gardener and joined the 15th Regiment Hussars. He was ranked as a Farrier from 4th February 1860. He was awarded his Long Service Medal after 21 years and 23 days of service and his intended place of residence is listed at Gorton, Manchester.
