Small letter reverse 1874-1901 version 8623 Corp. J.F. Leslie John Foster Leslie was born in October/December quarter of 1851 in Newton Abbott near Torquay, Devon. He appears to have enlisted into the Royal Engineers 16th December 1865 in Westminster, London which would make him only 14 years and 4 months old! He is listed as 4ft. 8" tall. He was ranked as Bugler 1st September 1866 and served in various home establishments and in Gibraltar and Hong Kong. With a folder of copied research. Condition as shown in photographs

John Neil Private 46th Regiment. 6.30pm on 21st May 1868 at Pembroke Dock, William John Forsyth fell into the water, John Neil jumped into the sea fully clothed and rescued the child. Royal Marines H.M.S Superb. 623 clasps were issued. 623 Clasps were awarded. Condition as shown in photographs Charles was born 14th April 1865 at St Johns Wood, London and enlisted on 14th July 1879 into the Portsmouth Division Royal Marines. His Egypt Medal is confirmed on his service papers (see attached).
