Royal Naval Egypt 1882 Clasp Alexandria 11th July Awarded to those actually present at the bombardment of Alexandria 11th July 1882. 236 clasps were awarded to Hecla. Dated 1882 on reverse W. J. Richards Boy 1. CL H.M.S. Hecla Condition as shown in photographs William was born on 28th December 1864 in Warwickshire and enlisted on 28th December 1882 for 10 years service. Unfortunately he had a very short naval career secombing to Typhoid fever on 20th 11th 1882 from H.M.S. Hecla in which he served during the Egypt campaign.

268520 Samuel Lawson Telford ERA1 Royal Navy -China medal 1900 no clasp named S.L. Telford ERA 3CL H.M.S Barfleur -1914-15 Star, War Medal, Victory Medal named 268520 S.L. Telford ERA1 RN Samuel Telford was born on 28th January 1874 at Gateshead on Tyne, Durham. He served on H.M.S Barfleur during the naval operations China 1900 Boxer Rebellion. 398 no clasp medals were awarded to the ship. He is shown as being issued a silver War Discharge badge in 1917. Lieutenant A.M.W. Blake Royal Navy  Killed in action 31st January 1942 when H.M.S. Belmont was sunk by a U82.  -Naval General Service Medal 1909-62 clasp Palestine 1936-1939 MID A.M.W. Blake R.N.  -1939-45 Star -Atlantic Star -Africa Star -War Medal WWII Medals unnamed as issued Lieutenant Arthur Michael William Blake Royal Navy joined as a naval cadet 1st September 1935, Midshipman 1st May 1936, Sublietenant 1st May 1938 and Lieutenant 1st September 1940. Naval cadet at Dartmouth Royal Naval College, Midshipman H.M.S. Valliant 1st May 1936, H.M.S. Ramillies 14th January 1937. H.M.S. Escort 12th January 1939, H.M.S. Encounter 24th June 1939, H.M.S. Belmont 2nd December 1941. Killed in action when H.M.S. Belmont was lost with all hands 31st January 1942, attacked by U-boat 82. H.M.S. Belmont was escorting convoys when attacked and sunk along with H.M.S. Culver about 30 miles South of Newfoundland. H.M.S. Belmont went full steam ahead to block the line of fire infront of the convoy and was rocked by 2 violent explosions. All 138 crew were lost in the sinking in the bitter cold winter’s night.  With a file of copied research  Condition as shown in photographs

Able Seaman R. Hill Royal Navy -1914-15 Star (223197 R Hill A.B.RN) -British War & Victory Medals (223197 R Hill A.B.RN) -Royal Fleet Reserve LS & GC GVR First issue (223197 Ch. B. 9606 R Hill A.B.RFR) Mounted for display. Rowland Hill was born in Stratford, Essex, February 1886. He joined the Royal Navy as a boy second class in October 1902 and advanced to Able Seaman in September 1905. He transferred to the Royal Fleet Reserve in April 1913 and served WW1 H.M.S Euryalus (Cruiser) in the Dardanelles and the Royal Naval Depot Port Said. Hill subsequently served H.M Ships Osiris and Repulse before being demobilised in June 1921. Good condition as shown in photographs.
